Return policy – pd Fatbike GmbH


At pd Fatbike GmbH, we place great importance on transparent and customer-friendly return policies. Below you will find the requirements, costs, and procedure for returning fat bikes and accessories.


Voluntary return policy


We grant our customers a voluntary right of return of 14 days from receipt of the goods.


This return policy is voluntary and exists in addition to the statutory warranty rights under the applicable law (Switzerland or Liechtenstein). It is not a statutory right of withdrawal, but a voluntary service offered by our company.


The following are specifically excluded from the voluntary right of return:

  • Custom-made or individually configured products
  • Special orders upon customer request
  • Products with obvious signs of use or damage
  • Items that can no longer be resold for hygienic or safety reasons

  • Condition of the returned goods


    The fat bike must be in mint condition and unused.


    A short test drive for functional testing (e.g. in an enclosed space or over a short distance) is permitted.


    The following points may lead to a reduction in the refund:

  • visible signs of wear
  • Scratches or damage
  • Contamination
  • Tire abrasion from outdoor use
  • technical or optical changes to the product

  • The goods must be returned in full, including:

  • all original accessories
  • User manuals
  • Chargers or accessories
  • Original packaging (if available)

  • Missing parts or damaged accessories can lead to a corresponding decrease in value.


    Return shipping costs


    The customer bears the costs for return shipping, unless the return is due to a product defect or incorrect delivery.


    The customer is responsible for safe transport until the goods arrive at our premises.


    We expressly recommend:

  • insured shipping
  • a shipping service with shipment tracking

  • We cannot accept liability for shipments that are lost or damaged during return transport.


    Please pack the fat bike carefully to avoid damage during transport.


    Return process


    1. Register return

    Please provide the following information:

  • Order number
  • Serial number of the bicycle (if available)
  • Reason for return

    Our customer service team will inform you about the next steps and provide you with the relevant return instructions.


    3. Checking the return


    Once the goods are received, the fat bike will be inspected by our team.


    4.⁠ ⁠Rückerstattung


    After successful verification, the refund will be issued within a maximum of 30 days via the originally used payment method.


    You will receive an email confirmation once your return has been received and processed.


    Faulty or damaged delivery


    If you have received a faulty, damaged or incomplete delivery, please contact us within 48 hours of receiving the goods.


    In this case, we will of course take care of:

  • the organization of the return
  • the shipping costs
  • replacement or refund

  • Refund methods


    Refunds are generally issued via the original payment method.


    Alternatively, customers can also choose by arrangement:

  • Exchange for a different product
  • Shop credit

  • The maximum refund amount corresponds to the actual purchase price paid, including any discounts granted.


    For orders processed through financing or third-party payment services, refunds will be issued according to the policies of the respective payment provider.


    Warranty and Support


    Regardless of the voluntary right of return, the statutory warranty rights and the respective product guarantee apply.


    Should your fat bike have a material or manufacturing defect, it will be repaired or replaced in accordance with the warranty conditions.


    Please report any transport damage or obvious defects within 48 hours of delivery so that we can organize a quick solution.
